One of the most anticipated smartphone releases for the coming months is that of ASUS Zenfone 6. Much is known of this device, which recently had some details leaked by the AnTuTu benchmark test, including its respectful scoring in that test. However, with the appearance of the model in the US FCC, more details were revealed.
Zenfone 6 which has the codename ASUS_I01WD will have an SM8150 baseband processor aka Snapdragon 855. Meanwhile, on the back of the phone will accommodate two cameras arranged horizontally and separated by a LED flash.
Right below the back camera house, there is a fingerprint scanner. Mentioned, Zenfone 6 will also have support for fast charging or 18W fast charging and dual SIM Card support as shown in the document revealed by the FCC.
ASUS Zenfone 6 will reach the world with the Snapdragon 855 processor, working with 6GB of RAM. You can expect a variant of this model with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. According to the rumors, this model should rely on well-reduced screen edges and a camera hole in the screen. In the back, we should find a triple photographic sensor, with the main lens of 48MP and Android Pie customized with Zen UI.
Historically, ASUS has always introduced affordable smartphones and interesting specifications, and the company should follow the same path in Zenfone 6, which is priced speculatively for its base version of $510, far below the amount charged by its direct competitors. External and aesthetic details are practically nil (the images in the post are merely illustrative). Its global launch will take place in Valencia (Spain) on May 16th.
