Not so long ago Asus introduced the Zenfone 6, with a rear camera that turns front and basically everything a top of the line must have. One curious point that may indicate that this may be the last Zenfone (with this name) is the absence of concentric circles in the visual. Today (27) the company solved this problem and is giving 12GB of RAM in a limited version of the device, which celebrates the brand’s 30 years and is called Zenfone 6 Edition 30.
Zenfone 6 was the latest of the top-of-the-line handset launches for 2019 if you do not consider the Galaxy Note line (usually in August) and iPhones (which are released shortly afterward). It has the bare minimum needed to be in this line of the products, which includes the most powerful Snapdragon on the market, lots of internal memory and has brought its differential: a rear camera that turns front and seems more versatile than the camera that turns the Galaxy A80.
The maximum configuration of the device is 256GB of memory and 8GB of RAM, but in the Asus presentation at Computex, which takes place this week in Taipei, Taiwan, the company showed a version with 12GB of RAM and doubled the space internal to 512GB of pure space for anything.
Apart from that, it is basically a Zenfone 6 like any other. This means that it works with a 6.4-inch screen in Full HD + resolution, has no notch, uses a Snapdragon 855 and battery that could be industry standard, since it has 5000mAh – battery never hurts.
All this special flavor is limited and is part of the commemoration of the 30 years of Asus in the world. In addition to the design feature that made the Zenfone line become known in the market, this Zenfone 6 receives the commemorative logo of this event, which is basically a triangle similar to that of Star Trek.
In all, there will be 3000 limited Zenfones 6 Edition 30 with a lot of RAM and double the internal memory. The company still does not reveal price or availability.
