Asus has announced that ROG Phone 6 will be released at 8pm Beijing time on July 5. Today, it was announced that the ROG Phone 6 will have a 165Hz AMOLED screen.
Currently, entry-level high-brush phones have 90Hz screens, while mainstream models have 120Hz screens. Some gaming phones, including the asus ROG Phone 5s, have 144Hz screens. Now, ROG Phone 6 has pushed the refresh rate standard for gaming phones to 165Hz.

Last month, Qualcomm officially launched the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and Asus also announced that the ROG Phone 6 will be powered by Qualcomm’s snapdragon 8+. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is manufactured based on THE 4nm process of TSMC. The main frequency of both CPU and GPU is increased by 10%, the overall chip power consumption is reduced by 15%, and the main frequency of large CPU core is increased to 3.2ghz. According to qualcomm’s official test data, the Snapdragon 8 + achieved an average frame rate of 60.2FPS in one hour of playing a 60-frame original Mobile game, and reduced power consumption by 30%.
