Asus has launched its ExpertCenter PN42 minicoman with a fanless design and an upgradable maintenance design that is easy to remove and install, allowing SSDS to be replaced without a tool.
The processors are Intel N100/N200, both with 4 cores and 4 threads and TDP of 6W, which are manufactured by Intel 7 technology. The difference between the two lies in that the N100 has a 3.4GHz frequency and 24 EU kernel display, while the N200 has a 3.7GHz Rui frequency and 32 EU kernel display.
For expansion, ExpertCenter PN42 comes with single and dual SO-DIMM slots, plus an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, support for 128GB to 2TB NVMe SSDS, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0.
The mini console has two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports on the front, as well as headphone and microphone ports, and three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, three USB 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one HDMI port, and dual 2.5Gbps ports on the back. Increased device flexibility, up to three display outputs or support for two 4K monitors.
No official price has been announced, but it is expected to go on sale soon.
