Asus unveiled its new Chromebook, the CX9, a powerful Chromebook for professionals. Pricing has not yet been announced and it will be available in North America in the second quarter of 2021.
According to Asus, the CX9 is powered by an 11-generation Intel Core i7 processor, which is rare in Chromebooks.
The Chromebook CX9 is just 16 millimeters thick and weighs 997 grams. And Asus says it meets the MIL-STD-810H U.S. military durability standards, so quality shouldn’t be a concern.
In addition, the Chromebook CX9 supports both Wi-Fi 6 and Harman Caton certified dual speakers, offering the new Thunderbolt 4 standard and HDMI output, and comes with Titan C Security, a security chip Google designed specifically for Chromebooks.
