Jon Prosser has revealed that the new Apple Watch Series 7 will have a flat edge, rectangular design similar to the iPhone 12 and iPad Pro, and will also include a new color scheme of green.
Last year Mr. Guo, an analyst at Skywind International, reported that Apple would introduce some new design for the 2021 Apple Watch Series 7, although he did not specify which one but in a recent episode of the Genius Bar podcast with Sam Kohl, whistleblower Jon Prosser revealed the design that Apple might be looking to adopt. Jon Prosser says that the Apple Watch Series 7 will have a similar design to other recent Apple hardware, which would mean that the Series 7 will not have curved corners. Similar to Apple’s iPhone 12 and iPad Pro, the design features sharp, flat edges and right angles.
Additionally, Jon Prosser says on the Genius Bar podcast that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be available in a green color palette for the first time (similar to the green color on Apple’s AirPods Max). Jon Prosser also says there will be a new rendering of the Apple Watch Series 7 design soon.
