iGEEKPHONE June 11 news, early this morning, the annual Worldwide Developers Conference was officially held.
Just four months after the release of Apple’s Vision Pro and its operating system, Vision OS, there’s a new and upgraded version, Vision OS 2.
According to Apple, Vision OS 2 takes the concept of spatial computing to a new level, and it will completely change the way users view photos. Now, regular 2D photos in your iPhone’s library can be converted into spatial photos with a natural sense of depth.
Vision OS 2 also introduces intuitive gesture control, which significantly improves operational efficiency. For example, Mac users can simply raise their hand and tap two fingers to quickly open the home screen view without any physical contact.
In addition, Vision OS 2 leverages advanced volumetric API technology to enable multiple complex 3D applications to run simultaneously and in parallel, improving multitasking capabilities.
In terms of usage scenarios, the Apple Vision Pro is now not limited to use on planes, but has added support for the train environment, which will bring convenience to commuters and travelers.
