A new fast security response update has been made available to Apple iOS 16.4 and macOS 13.3 Beta 2 users.
Apple intends to use Rapid Security Response updates in the future to quickly address identified security vulnerabilities that are being actively exploited. This is the first Quick Security Response update for iOS 16.4 and macOS Ventura 13.3 Beta testers.
iGeekphone reminds that the update can be found in the Settings app, in the same location where the normal update appears. This update is shown as iOS Security Response 16.4 (a) and macOS Security Response 13.3 (a).
Users who trigger a security response update can revert to a previous version of iOS or macOS during this test. Apple tested the feature in a Beta before.
