Apple today introduced a new beta firmware update for AirPods Pro 2 (including USB-C and Lightning versions) with version number 6E188, which is higher than the 6B34 firmware released in December.
As usual, Apple did not provide a detailed update log or description, so it is unclear what new features will be available, and this firmware update is currently limited to developers.
Apple has added several new AirPods Pro 2 features in iOS 17, such as adaptive audio, conversation awareness, and personalized volume.
Igeekphone Note: Apple officially did not specify how AirPods Pro 2 firmware upgrade, but it is usually connected to the iOS device via wireless installation.
Users can force an upgrade by putting the AirPods in a box, connecting the AirPods to a power source, and then pairing the AirPods with an iOS device or Mac.
