In addition to the Apple TV+ service, one of the first hardware products to call tonight’s Apple Gala was the new iPad, with an updated A13 processor, a 20% boost in performance, 12 million new front-facing cameras, and a 64GB starting price of $329, starting today.
The New iPad, dubbed apple’s most popular iPad, has a 10.2 screen size, starting with the A13 processor, which is 20% more powerful than the previous A12 chip and six times faster than the best-selling Android tablet.
The second is a 12 megapixel camera with a wide Angle, center position and sharper video.
The screen also supports TrueTone, which automatically adjusts the color temperature.
There is also a doubling of capacity, starting at 64GB.
Other changes include optional LTE, 20W USB-C fast charging, and more.
