According to media reports, Apple is accelerating the production of Vision Pro in preparation for the launch of the market in February, that is, around the Chinese Spring Festival (February 10).
According to people familiar with the matter, the Vision Pro is being produced at full speed in China’s factories for several weeks, with the goal of having customer-facing devices ready by the end of January and launching in retail channels the following month.
Apple sent an email to software developers on Wednesday encouraging them to test their apps “ready” for Vision Pro using the latest tools and send their software to Apple as feedback.
Apple Vision Pro is known as an epoch-making product, officially released at WWDC in June this year, Apple did not classify it as a VR, AR or MR Device, but hopes that it can lead everyone into the era of spatial computing.
The Vision Pro uses Micro OLED technology to provide 23 million pixels on the left and right displays, and the monocular effect can even exceed 4K display, while also having a wide color gamut and HDR high dynamic range.
Apple also added M2+R1 dual chip design to the Vision Pro to greatly shorten the screen and operation delay, so that the delay can be controlled within 12ms at least, and the user’s perception of delay can be greatly reduced.
It is understood that Apple Vision Pro will cost as much as $3,499, or about 25,000 yuan.
