Geekbench Version 6 has been updated for the first time in many years.
With the release of the new version, many mobile phone enthusiasts have been unable to resist the inner desire to test their phones with the new software at the first time.
And the most interesting, or Android VS Apple score results.
Digital bloggers have revealed the latest Android phones, the Samsung S23 Ultra and Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro, the former with a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 arguably represents the strongest performance of the current Android phones, while the latter with the A16 processor is the dominant one in the current Apple phones.
In Geekbench 5, the A16 was ahead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 on both single-core and multicore models, but in Geekbench 6, the gap widened even further.
In the new Geekbench 6 test, the Samsung S23 Ultra scored 2,095 points on a single core and 5,486 points on a multi-core bench. But when you look at the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, you know what is tough.
In the new version, iPhone 14 Pro with A16 scored 2528/6623, which is a huge improvement compared to Geekbench 5’s score of 1880/5619. The 2529 single-core score is significantly ahead of the Android camp, and the multi-core score has also increased by 1000 points compared to the previous version. Can be said to further consolidate the advantage of the Android camp.
After seeing the new score, some netizens lamented that the efforts of Qualcomm for several generations were no match for an update of Geekbench.
