iGEEKPHONE October 18 news, today, iPad mini 7 appeared in the GeekBench running site.
GeekBench website shows that the iPad mini 7 single-core score is 2817, the multi-core score is 6982, compared to the previous generation, its CPU performance improved by more than 30%.
It is worth noting that the A17 Pro equipped with the iPad mini 7 is a bloody version, which has one less GPU core than the standard version, and its running score is slightly worse than the iPhone 15 Pro, which also has the A17 Pro.
Although it is a residual version, the iPad mini 7 has achieved a qualitative leap in CPU performance compared to the previous generation iPad mini 6 (A15 chip), and the graphics processing power is still significantly improved.
The tablet supports hardware-level ray tracing technology, and also supports dynamic caching and hardware-accelerated grid shading, which makes it still able to maintain stable performance in high-load gaming environments, such as “Never Zone Zero” and other graphics-demanding AAA games, iPad mini 7 can still run smoothly.
Additionally, GeekBench confirmed that the iPad mini 7 comes with 8GB of RAM, which is Apple’s largest mini tablet to date.
Thanks to the A17 Pro and 8GB of memory, the iPad mini 7 supports Apple intelligence, the same as the latest generation iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, and the Chinese version of the iPad mini 7 will add AI capabilities in subsequent push updates.
