Apple is shipping iOS/iPadOS 15.1 Developer Preview Update Beta3 (Internal version 19B5060d) to iPhone and iPad users today, one week after its last release.
Earlier, Apple fixed the Apple Watch unlock feature in Beta2, the developer preview of iOS 15.1. Apple Watch can be used to unlock iPhone 13 models while wearing masks.
Users will be able to turn off “Unlock with Apple Watch” and unlock the iPhone 13 using their device password until the update is officially available. To turn off Unlock with Apple Watch, go to Settings > Face ID & Password.
In addition, SharePlay is back in iOS 15.1, and Apple is again testing features that were removed before iOS 15 was released. SharePlay allows users to call friends and family, watch movies, TV or listen to music together and interact.
Apple has also added features such as shared playlists and syncing TV shows to ensure users can see the same content at the same time. SharePlay supports built-in screen sharing, and Apple is still working on fixing bugs.
