Apple’s iOS 16.3.1 update, released today, contains a BUG that is incompatible with the Google Photos app, causing it to crash when enabled, according to AppleInsider. iPhone fans at Igeekphone, if you’re using Google Photos, don’t upgrade yet.
The editor for AppleInsider replicated the problem on his iPhone, and the Google Photos app immediately crashed every time he opened it.

Users who download the new application will be able to perform the login process without crashing. Once access to the entire user library was granted, the app crashed, suggesting that this may have been caused by the way Google accessed the images.
