Domestic PC maker AOOSTAR started production of the NAS N1 minicomputer in 2022, which can also be used as a router, home server or network attached storage server. Now, AOOSTAR is offering a higher-performance N1 Pro model starting at $349.
Like the original NAS N1, the new N1 Pro features a mini tower design and supports two 3.5-inch hard drives as well as SSD solid state storage.
The new N1 Pro is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 5 5500U chip with 15W of power, six Zen 2 CPU cores, 12 threads, up to 4GHz, support for 1.8GHz Radeon Vega 7 graphics, Supports DDR4-3200 memory.
The device is expected to be equipped with two SODIMM memory slots supporting two M.2 2280 slots. Thus, users can use both hard disk bays and two M.2 slots, effectively supporting up to four storage devices.
The N1 Pro supports two Ethernet ports, with the newer model having a faster Ethernet port speed of 2.5GbE.
Other features of the N1 Pro include support for up to three displays (provided by HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB Type-C ports), an Intel AX200 wireless card that supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and other ports, including:

The device measures 162 mm x 162 mm x 198 mm (6.4 “x 6.4” x 7.8 “) and can be pulled out to access a hard drive.
The starting price applies to quasi-system configurations with no memory or storage, but users can also purchase an additional 32GB of memory and 1TB of solid state storage. If you install the memory by yourself, the system supports a maximum of 64GB memory.
