Benchmarking specialist AnTuTu regularly publishes rankings of smartphones that receive top scores. So today AnTuTu Ranking of the top 10 strongest smartphones for August 2021 has been announced. The leader remains the gaming flagship Black Shark 4 Pro, based on Snapdragon 888. As for other rankings, there are some positions switched and there are new flagships that use the Snapdragon 888+ chipset already joining the table.
As we can see, the champion is still Black Shark 4 Pro with an average score of 864614 points, ranking No. 1 for more than 6 months in a row. Second place went to the iQOO 8 Pro, which is built on the latest Snapdragon 888+. The smartphone scored 846,351 points.
Experts explain the current situation by the fact that AnTuTu tests all smartphone systems as a whole, and Black Shark 4 Pro is due to much faster memory usage. When it comes to pure chipset performance, iQOO 8 will definitely show the best result.
Note that the statistics provided show the average results for each of the smartphones presented in the list. If a model has multiple options that differ in storage capacity and RAM, the rating takes into account the more advanced version.
The first three positions are closed by ZTE Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro based on Snapdragon 888, which scores 829,331 points. In the top ten, in addition to iQOO 8 Pro, only one Snapdragon 888+-based smartphone was entered – Xiaomi MIX 4, which scored 806,058 points.
As for the top 10, the strongest mid-range smartphone in AnTuTu Ranking, the champion is still Mi 11 Lite 5G, the old champion from the previous month with a score of over 530657 points. The Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 occupy the second and third positions with 511,155 and 506,774 points respectively. These devices are based on the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The ranking of “middle peasants” also includes smartphones based on chips MediaTek Dimensity and HiSilicon Kirin 985. On the latter is based Huawei Nova 8, which closes the top ten.
In the past month, the flagship side has continued to compete fiercely, although the BlackShark 4 Pro is still the champion. We may see new rankings coming in next month. It’s quite fun.
