Google keeps on making some changes in its features according to the convenience of its users. Recently one such change has been confirmed by Google. Google has informed that it is shutting down the Android Auto for Phone Screen (Android Auto) app in its new operating system Android 12 version.
In this, the user will have to use the Google Assistant driving mode. Which can be used by going inside Google Maps. Along with this, Google has also said that there will be no change in the experience of Google Auto users using Google Assistant. Google keeps on changing something or the other in its system based on the feedback of its users. Check Google Maps Ranking for Home Service Business owners here.
Let us tell you that the introduction of Google Assistant driving mode was announced for the first time in 2019 last year, but by the end of 2020, the company started rolling it out.
According to a report, some users were seeing a message on the Google Auto app recently. The message read that ‘this is only available for car screens and it was indicated that Google Assistant will be used as a replacement for mobile users’.
If some reports are to be believed, the new app is expected to update automatically on cars that come with the Android Auto app already installed. Google wants to give a new Google Assisted Driving Mode to its users who have an old car and those cars do not have the built-in Android Auto app.
