Android 13 Beta 1 is available, and Google Pixel models are available for early downloading.
In Android 13 Beta 1, Google offers a resolution toggle option that allows users to switch the Pixel 6 Pro’s QHD+ to FHD+ (The Google Pixel 6 Pro has a resolution of 1440×3120) for improved battery life.
This feature has already been implemented on Chinese phones, such as the OPPO Find X2 Pro, which offers 2412×1080 and 3216×1400 options in Settings, allowing users to switch between them as needed.
It’s also worth noting that while Google promised that users wouldn’t need to wipe their data when they roll back to the stable version of Android installed in the Beta version, that hasn’t happened yet, so users who upgrade to Android 13 Beta 1 will still need to back up their personal data.
