For those who don’t know, Lenovo has a series of devices called Phab. But since the launch of Phab 2 Pro in the past 2016, we no longer hear the series in the following years. Now, Lenovo seems to be reviving this series with its new device which might be launched as Phab 3.
That was seen after their two devices with the PB-6505M and PB-6505MC model numbers were certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. Although the FCC did not mention that it was Lenovo Phab 3, the model number was identical to the older Phab model.
For example, the first Lenovo Phab launched in 2015 had a PB1-750M model number, and Phab 2 Pro carried the PB2-690M model number. So, speculate that the new Lenovo PB-6505M / MC can be Lenovo Phab 3.
Apart from that, according to a report from the Nashville Chatter Class, revealed that the Lenovo PB-6505M has dimensions of 178 x 86mm with a diagonal size of 198mm which if translated translates into a screen size of more than 7-inches.
Furthermore, this device will have a single camera in the back complete with LED Flash and fingerprint sensor. In addition, it will be packed with a large 5180mAh battery and bring support for dual-band Wi-Fi.
So far Lenovo hasn’t confirmed the existence of this new device. In addition, the name Lenovo Phab 3 is limited to specific information because there is no concrete evidence to prove it. But the fact that the last in this series is Phab 2 / Phab 2 Pro means that Phab 3 must come next. We hope that some leaks about this device will soon surface to give us more information.
