Bluboo is about to launch a big screen smartphone, the much awaited Bluboo Maya Max. It is said that the Max is going house a big 6.0″ JDI display. According to Bluboo it is one of the best displays seen on a smartphone yet in this range.
Speaking about the specifications of the display, it will be having a resolution of 1280 x 720(HD) , giving it a pixel density of about 245ppi (pixels per inch). The display will be having a mind blowing contrast ratio of 1500:1 which is generally found in flagship phones and a brightness intensity level of 550cd/square meter. Also it will have a wide viewing anlge of 178 degrees, placing it in the likes of Amoled displays.
Bluboo Maya Max has a OGS(One Glass Solution) display technology which leads to a very thin screen and a less reflective surface. The JDI ( Japan Display Inc) made display on this smartphone provides better sunlight legibility and improves transmittance of light to enhance display surface brightness. It also reduces backlight power consumption by up to 40% without any effect on image quality.
The Bluboo Maya Max although has an HD (1280 x 720) resolution display but still has a great contrast ratio of 1500:1 which means deeper blacks and bright whites plus the 178 degree wide viewing angle make it up for the less resolution of the display.
