iGEEKPHONE November 22 news, according to media reports, Apple is developing a more intelligent, stronger dialogue Siri, aiming to catch up with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and other voice services.
According to the report, the new Siri uses a more advanced large language model (LLM), and Apple hopes that the new Siri can conduct continuous conversations, respond more like a human, and handle more complex requests more quickly.
The new Siri is called “LLM Siri” by Apple developers, and like Apple Intelligence introduced this year, these new features will not be immediately incorporated into next year’s hardware devices, and Apple currently plans to release a new version of Siri as early as 2026.
It is understood that in iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1, the much-watched Apple Intelligence feature is officially live.
Iphones, ipads, and Macs will have “system-wide AI writing assistants” – including mail, memos, messages, Pages, and third-party apps.
As planned, the official version of Apple iOS 18.2 will be released in December, when Apple Intelligence will officially access ChatGPT.
Apple users can use ChatGPT for free without creating an account, and Siri will use ChatGPT’s expertise to answer user questions.
