Google’s Pixel 6 series received its December patch update earlier this week, but it appears the update is causing problems for users in Europe as more and more users report related network issues.
Since the December patch was rolled out earlier this week, Pixel 6 users in Germany, France, Belgium, Spain and other countries and territories have reported significant network signal loss on their devices, and in many cases, the devices have been unable to get a cellular connection at all. There are also frustrating and potentially dangerous side effects, such as a drop in phone calls, igeekphone has learned.
The exact cause of the problem is not entirely clear. The December patch is definitely to blame for these network issues on Pixel 6 devices. Some users, particularly on Reddit, speculated that Google might have rolled out the wrong update patch, with an A1 update instead of an A4. However, this problem seems to occur no matter which version you install. Version A1 is designed for global lockless devices used by carriers that do not require specific changes. The A4 update is designed for these specific carriers only.
Google had no immediate comment.

Unfortunately, the best solution for now is to downgrade to the previous patch. Please note, however, that this is a fairly complex process that requires a factory reset of the device.
