If we take away the very cheapest phones, the first devices that make sense to buy are starting at about under 200$ Smartphone. That is, I think, such a reasonable price bottom, under which only brutal compromises, obsolete components, and the cheapest designs are already present. And Vernee X1 decided to try to shuffle with the cards in the lower middle, so let’s take a look!
Design
The first grasping of the handset accompanied a feeling of robustness. Weight combined with a centimeter thick body are factors that can make you feel resilient. But right from the start, it’s clear that plastic plays here. However, the processing is exemplary, and even the resistance of Vernee X1 in a variety of twisting and bending shows that even a good material can be made from cheap materials. The USB-C jacks are still packaged, like Vernee, unfortunately, decided that this proven technology should not do in 2018. And finally, a charger with a detachable but durable cable.
Display
Its screen is 6″FullHD + resolution and, according to the brand, this occupies 83.8% of the front panel of the smartphone, which will provide a much more pleasant content viewing experience. The screen glass still has a curved finish (2.5D). The resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels is accurate with respect to size, color rendering is true, and readability in direct sunlight is also more than satisfactory. Brightness regulation sometimes had the tendency to overestimate the ambient light level and unnecessarily darken backlighting.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, the Vernee X1 is packed with a MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor, which comes with a 10% enhanced performance and a 15% optimized power consumption in comparison to the previous-gen model. This chip also supports Cat. 7 network and dual-4G VoLTE/ViLTE. The SoC is also paired with a 6GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage.
Features
The photographic system is endowed with four different modules on the front there is a setup of 13 + 5 MP with a dedicated flash for selfies, on the rear a 16 + 5 MP setup with the main sensor produced by Sony, compatible with PDAF technology for focusing and combined with an f / 2.0 lens. The system can also simulate the blurred in the background typical of the lenses with a large focal aperture that can be installed on professional cameras. Inside the device, there is also a huge 6,200 mAh battery that, thanks to the exclusive VOS system of super energy saving, can easily deliver even four full days of operational autonomy. Moreover, from 0 to 100, it can be recharged in just 2 and a half hours thanks to the quick charge support. The smartphone supports unlocking via face recognition and also has a fingerprint sensor available on the back. At the first start, there is Android 8.1 Oreo installed. Comes with Android in version 7.1, is dual-SIM LTE with band 20 support.
Where To Shop
In this case, the Vernee X1 has two main cameras vertically, with the fingerprint reader just below, in a square format. The design is in metal and because of this, the 6,200 mAh battery is not removable. Already in the front, we find the screen with a good use. Vernee X1 is now avaialble on CooliCool in Just $199.99.
Update on April 25: Right now Vernee X1 enjoys big activity from April 23 to April 29 at $199.99 and enjoy free cases valued 10usd.
