The UMIDIGI Z2 and Z2 Pro are being quoted as the company’s next flagship smartphone. They have not yet been officially announced by the brand, but it does not mean that they themselves can not “leak” model information. The company has released a hands-on video, which you can check below:
In it we see that the appliances will have a notch at the top and a bottom edge. The screen will have rounded corners and will occupy much of the front of the product. At the rear, a curved glass finish with a very interesting effect, in addition to the two cameras, the company logo, the flash, and the fingerprint reader.
In the hardware part, the UMIDIGI will bring the Helio P60, the main competitor of Snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm, present in Zenfone 4. It will have 12 threads for processing data with a dedicated APU for artificial intelligence, in addition to counting on the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, thus reaching about 6000 points in the Geekbench multi-core test. Add that to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal space, and support NFC in the Pro model.
The company itself gives emphasis on the fact that the Z2 and Z2 Pro will implement a top-notch “as the iPhone X ” for implementation of sensors in that area, and to better use the front of the product to display. Remembering that the device will run Android 8.1 Oreo as an operating system.
But when will they be announced?
The UMIDIGI Z2 and Z2 Pro will be announced at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics fair in Hong Kong, which will take place from April 18-21. There is no official information on their price, but rumors say they should stay in the $170. If you’d attend the show, visit the UMIDIGI booth at 7K02 and try the UMIDIGI Z2/Z2 Pro. If this smartphone has aroused your curiosity, I recommend that you stay tuned to the official UMIDIGI website for more information.
