After 15 months of launching the Flyme 6, Meizu has announced the arrival of the Flyme 7. It has also started recruitment for testing the closed beta version of the Flyme 7. Those who wish to participate in it can do so by completing the online registration. Doing so will allow them to get first-hand experience of the Flyme 7.
In order to register for the closed beta one should update their Meizu device to the latest version of the software available. Login in to the Flyme account and then download the “Flyme Community” app. Navigate to the registration page and you apply for the closed beta. The Flyme Community app will be able to detect the serial number and IMEI number of the user. By hitting the submit button, the registration process can be completed.
Once the application is reviewed, selected user will receive an OTA system update. The arrival time of the update for a particular device will be disclosed by Meizu later.
Before applying, one should check whether the device is running on latest version of software or not. Rooted Meizu phones cannot participate in it. Older devices that have not received recent updates won’t be given the closed beta update. One should check the arrival of the update by checking availability of the system update manually.
