Xiaomi has launched the Mi MIX 2S smartphone and Huawei has also announced the P20 and P20 Prof flagship phones. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had already confirmed at the beginning of this year that the OnePlus 6 would be debuting at the end of Q2. A leaked photo showing the backside of the OnePlus 6 has been shared by none other than the famous leakster Evan Blass.
The design of the back panel shows that the handset will be equipped with vertically arranged dual rear cameras and below it is the fingerprint scanner. The bottom edge of the phone features a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port and an external speaker. The image of the back panel resembles with the leaked photo of the OnePlus 6 that had surfaced in the previous month. However, the previously leaked photo had suggested that it would be sporting a shiny rear, but the new images shows a distinctive textured back panel. Also, the text “Designed by OnePlus” is also etched on the rear of the phone.
There is no fresh image to reveal the front design of the phone. However, recent reports have claimed, the OnePlus 6 is going to feature a notched display. Some rumors claim that it may arrive with advanced features such as in-screen fingerprint rear and 3D facial recognition system. The highest variant of the upcoming OnePlus flagship featuring Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is likely to cost around $749
