Last year, Xiaomi had launched the Mi 5X smartphone in July. Hence, its successor – the Mi 6X is also expected to get announced around July this year. It seems that the company is prepping up on the launch of the Mi 6X already as the handset has been found listed at China’s TENAA authority.
Xiaomi’s two phones with model numbers M1804D2SE and M1804D2SC have appeared on TENAA. Since both the phones have identical specs, these could be network variants of the same handset.
According to TENAA listing, the smartphone features a 5.99-inch display that offers FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It delivers an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is fueled by an octa-core processor that works at 2.2 GHz. It is speculated that the Snapdragon 630 or Snapdragon 660 could be present under the hood of the Mi 6X. The 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants of the alleged Mi 6X feature 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM.
The back panel features dual camera setup and one of its sensors is 20-megapixel. The front panel is fitted with a 20-megapixel selfie camera. It is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. It has a battery of 2,910 mAh capacity. The Xiaomi handset has been listed with multiple color choices such as n black, rose gold, white, blue, red, pink, gray, and silver. There is no information available on the pricing of the phone. Some rumors claim that it may get announced alongside the Mi MIX 2S today.
