Next Friday on March 16, Xiaomi will bring Redmi Note 5 smartphone in China, which is the first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC, its performance is almost similar to that of Snapdragon 820 processor, so it is worthwhile to look forward.
Redmi Note 5 China version is the one based on Redmi note 5 pro Indian version, before it is released, it is said it will be the first Snapdragon 632 chipset smartphone. Today there is a model, Xiaomi Berlin spotted at Geekbench 4, which shows it is powered by Snapdragon 632 processor.
In test score, it has got 1155 points in single core, 2738 points in multi-core, adopting Hexa core processor. It seems Snapdragon 632 processor should reduce two Kryo 260 core based on Snapdragon 636 processor, meanwhile, it has only 1.02GHz frequency, maybe it is due to prototype, which leads to lower scores, after all Snapdragon 630 processor has got over 4,000 points in multi-core, so it doesn’t stand for its real performance.
