Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be launching the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S smartphone on March 27. Now that the Chinese manufacturer has affirmed on its launch date, its fans are eagerly waiting to know when it will be announcing the successor phone for Mi 6 flagship phone from last year. At present, there is no information available on its launch date, but the rumor mill has leaked fresh photos of the phone to show what sort of design it will be arriving with.
Xiaomi Mi 7 leaked photos show that the handset will be sporting a full screen design. This corresponds with the rumors that have claimed that the handset will be sporting an 18:9 aspect ratio. The corners of the phone are rounded and the display is surrounded by slim bezels. The upper bezel has an earpiece and dual selfie snapper. The right side of the phone has volume rocker and power key. What’s interesting about the display of the phone is that icons present on the lower portion of the screen suggests that it will carry support for gestures like the iPhone X.
The backside of the phone has vertical dual rear cameras located at the top-left corner. The vertical setup is quite different from iPhone X. The reflective rear suggests that the handset will be sporting glass rear panel like the predecessor phone. The fingerprint scanner is not present on the rear or front of the phone. This indicates that the handset may not feature it like the iPhone X as it may be equipped with a robust face unlock technology. There is a possibility that the fingerprint sensor could be embedded under the display of the Xiaomi phone.
