Moto G6 Play is an upcoming smartphone from Lenovo-owned Motorola. It is expected to get unveiled alongside the Moto G6 and G6 Play smartphones. A handset labelled as “Motorola moto g(6) play” has appeared on Geekbench to reveal its performance and key specs.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Moto G6 Play features Snapdragon 430 chipset that is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. It is running on Android 8.0 Oreo. In single-core test, the handset has scored 472 whereas in multi-core test, it has scored 1801.
The Snapdragon 430 chipset is an obsolete chipset that was first seen on phones that were released in 2015. It features a n octa-core processor that clocks at 1.4 GHz along with Adreno 505 graphics.
Recent leaks have revealed that the Moto G6 Play will be featuring a 5.7-inch display. However, unlike the G6 and G6 Plus smartphones that are rumored to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio display, the G6 Play may feature only a traditional display of 16:9. It is expected to house a 4,00mAh battery and feature a single rear camera. The G6 and G6 Plus are rumored to arrive with dual rear cameras. At launch, it may carry a pricing of around $190.
Last year, Motorola had launched the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 tech expo in February. Hence, it is rumored that the Moto G6 series phones may get unveiled at the MWC 2018.
