At MWC 2018 in Barcelona, the Japanese company Sony will show the world its new flagship for 2018. Among them will be the successor Xperia XZ1, which should hit the market as Sony Xperia XZ2 (H8266). It was this model that was tested by AnTuTu, thanks to which we got to know its partial specification.
I guess it is no surprise to anyone that the Sony Xperia XZ2 is to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 mobile platform. The Japanese have not focused on the most powerful units in the portfolio of the American company Qualcomm since yesterday. Speaking of which, I would like to remind you that the Snapdragon 845 has passed performance tests and proved to be a really efficient system. Xperia XZ2 should, therefore, be very fast and very efficient, which will take care not only a powerful processor but also light software (based on Android Oreo).
After all, it’s a pity that Sony will not connect Snapdragon 845 with an above average amount of memory. It is true that 4GB of Ram is still a lot, but if someone was dealing with a phone with more Ram, this one knows perfectly well that the difference in multitasking is really noticeable. Maybe 6GB of RAM will get Xperia XZ Pro. I will not complain about this for 64GB of memory for user files because this value will still be the standard in the basic versions of this year’s flagship.
Unfortunately, AnTuTu did not give the number and resolution of cameras or the diagonal of the screen. However, we have a resolution of 2160 × 1080 (Full HD +). It means one thing – Sony will bet on the increasingly popular 18: 9 ratio. This information seems to confirm that Sony will also decide to reduce the frames around the screen, although we still do not know what specific level. As I mentioned earlier, the Xperia XZ2 pro will take place at MWC 2018, in less than two weeks.
