The presentation of new Nokia phones will take place on February 25 at MWC in Barcelona and the Nokia 7 Plus will probably be presented at the MWC. HMD Global did not manage to keep a secret and information about the device’s specifications leaked to the network. But 3 weeks before realistic renders are saying that this is going to change and 7 Plus will appear on the global market this year and the received information that reveals a lot of details and what to expect from its design. Less Nokia 7, although it was presented last year.
Render reveal that the Nokia 7 Plus will be the first phone of HMD Global, which will be equipped with a 6-inch screen and it is expected to deliver FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels in a ratio of 18: 9. This is not a frameless design typical of current flagships, but a larger surface will provide a better experience when using your phone. The 18: 9 screens are great for games and watching movies.
The housing of the device will probably be made of aluminum. Nokia engineers have abandoned the use of glass on the back of the new phone. For many people, this is good news, because the housing will be less susceptible to damage. On the back of the smartphone, you can see a dual camera placed in a vertical position, just like in the iPhone X or the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9. There was a place for the fingerprint reader under the lenses.
The Nokia 7 Plus smartphone can be equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB Ram and it is also expected to arrive in 6GB Ram option such as the original Nokia 7. Inside the device, there should be 64GB of memory, which can probably be expanded with the use of memory cards. The device is also to receive a new USB type C input and also expected to include 3.5mm audio jack.
Unfortunately, the published render did not reveal the battery capacity in the phone. The smaller Nokia 7 has a 3450mAh battery with fast charging support. Rumors say that this is the minimum capacity that can be found in a larger model. Nokia 7 Plus is pegged to operate based on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo system.
In the new Nokia 7 Plus there may be a dual camera with a resolution of 12MP + 13MP with support for OIS and 2x optical zoom and a 16MP lens is likely to appear on the front of the device. This is definitely good news for fans of the series.
