Even though Vivo has impressed the smartphone industry and its fan by launching the Vivo X20 Plus UD as the world’s first smartphone with in-screen fingerprint sensor, one should be aware of the fact that its Xplay series is more advanced than its X series. Rumors have it that the Chinese manufacturer will be debuting the Vivo Xplay 7 smartphone this year.
It is speculated that the Vivo Xplay 7 may feature a 4K display with in-screen fingerprint sensor. Moreover, it is expected to deliver 92.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. A leaked image of a mysterious Vivo smartphone has appeared with ultra-thin bezels. The image could belong to a prototype, but the real smartphone is rumored to offer a screen-to-body ratio that is higher than Mi MIX 2.
It is speculated that the Vivo Xplay 7 would be fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset. Some rumors have claimed that it may feature 10 GB of RAM which sounds too good to be true. It is likely to feature 512 GB of native storage. The Xplay 7 may arrive in the market as a camera flagship as it is speculated to arrive with custom lens from Sony that will carry support for loseless 4x optical zoom.
