The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech exhibition will be held at Barcelona, Spain between Feb. 26 and March 1. The platform will be used by many smartphone OEMs to unveil their new devices. Qualcomm had officially announced the Snapdragon 845 chipset in December 2017. A couple of brands are expected to launch Snapdragon 845 driven flagship phones at MWC 2018.
Sony Xperia XZ Pro
It is expected to debut with full screen design and it could be the first smartphone with dual rear cameras from Sony. It is also pegged to feature 4K OLED display.
Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be sporting almost the same Infinity Display design as its predecessor model. However, the Galaxy S9 duo will be arriving with advanced innards. Some markets will receive their Snapdragon 845 models will others will get Exynos 9810 variants. The S9 phones are expected to support variable aperture for better photography experience.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S
Recent reports have revealed that instead of the Mi 7, the company will be debuting Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S smartphone flagship phone. It is expected to sport a notch like iPhone X. As far as Xiaomi Mi 7, if it is not unveiled at MWC 2018, it may get unleashed in April or May.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
Recent leaks have revealed that the Nokia 8 Sirocco as an upgraded edition of the Nokia 8 flagship phone from last year. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is pegged to come with Snapdragon 845 and ZEISS certified dual rear cameras. It might sport a full screen design.
