Asus launched a countdown on its official website and confirmed its presence at MWC 2018. Along with the announcement that it hosts a press event during the fair on February 27th, the company has used the hashtag # BackTo5, which may indicate the arrival of its next generation of smartphones led by ZenFone 5. In addition, the manufacturer makes it clear that the equipment will be driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
A tech site already anticipated yesterday (29) that the ZenFone 5 Max received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance, meaning at least a model of the new generation is already underway. As in previous years, Asus is expected to present more than one model to the public, so expectations for the end of next month are high.
Asus has already had a ZenFone 5, with four different versions of the device being released between the beginning of 2014 and the beginning of 2014, the “Back to 5” of the hashtag, “Back to 5”. beginning in 2015.
