Last year, well-known tipster Evan Blass had claimed that Motorola will be launching the Moto G6 Play smartphone alongside Lenovo–owned Motorola Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus smartphones. The renders of the all the three phones that belong to the Moto G6 series have surfaced earlier in this month. An Indian publication has recently revealed the 3D renders of the Moto G6 Play smartphone created by @OnLeaks.
As it can be seen, the Moto G6 Play features a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio supporting display. Rumors have it that the handset houses a 5.7-inch screen that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The handset measures 155.4 x 72.2 x 8.94mm and with including the camera bump, it measures 9.35mm in thickness.
The renders reveal that the G6 Play will be coming with a metallic body. It does not feature a home button which suggests that the “M” logo placed on the backside is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The selfie camera seems to be equipped with an LED flash. As far as connectivity ports are concerned, it has a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port.
The Snapdragon 430 chipset will be powering the phone. It is expected to arrive in two models featuring 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. The device is expected to include a 4,000mAh battery. It is likely to come in color choices like Dark Charcoal, Deep Blue and Gold.
