Huawei Honor Note 8 previously thought to be Honor V8 Max is starting to take its covers off slowly through company released teasers. Since then the teasers are getting more informative, this time a poster was released revealing the launch date of the huge smartphone and it is on 1st of August.
Huawei seems to have chosen August for the release purposefully as its the 8th month and may signify the name Honor Note 8, the phone first made made its appearance in a leak on Weibo. Initially as I said earlier it was supposedly named Honor V8 Max, considering it is a direct rival to the Mi Max may be the V8 Max was changed to Note 8 which was later confirmed by Huawei itself.
TENAA aslo did quite well revealing the much needed info about the massive display size of 6.6″ and eye popping 2K resolution, while other specifications of the device are said to be a Kirin 950 pocessor while there seems to be another version with an higher Kirin 955 chipset, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and another with 4GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, both with microSD card slots.
Huawei Honor Note 8 will feature a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and an ample 8MP front-facing camera. A USB Type-C interface which assures fast charging of the humongous 4400mAh. A fingerprint sensor (obviously). The 4GB version is said to be priced at 2299 Yuan (Rs 23000) and the 3GB version at 1999 Yuan (Rs 20000).
