Samsung is working on a new smartphone with the code name SM-J720X. This information comes directly from the well-known GeekBench and GFXBench benchmark portals, where the same device has left a trace of its passage showing part of the hardware specifications.
Considering the codename, the new smartphone seems to be a cross between the Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J710F) and the Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-J730F). However, the technical specifications it is equipped with seem to fit well with a device close to the official announcement. It should therefore not be surprising if the new smartphone in question was just the Galaxy J7 (2018) or Galaxy J8.
Through Geekbench and GFXBench, many specifications of the device are also recorded. Specifically, the product will be equipped with Exynos 7885 processor 8 core 1.6 GHz, accompanied by Mali G-71 graphics chip, 4 GB of Ram. Galaxy J8 2018 also owns 5.5 inch HD screen, the back is 12 MP camera, while the front is 8 MP camera, both support full HD video recording.
The same smartphone has also totaled 1208 points on Geekbench in Single-Core and 4121 points in Multi-Core mode. Also, in this case, the Galaxy SM-J720X appeared with the Android software distribution Oreo 8.0. Still, several points to be clarified for this new device of which, almost certainly, we will hear also in the next few weeks in view of MWC 2018.
