Google is trying to improve the apps that makes and supports continuously. One of these apps is Google Photos, which it’s continuous efforts to make it better than before is quite remarkable, since the company has been quite active in making it a big success over other photo storage apps.
Yesterday, Google updated the app to its latest version , 1.24. Despite the fact that this update didn’t include any major changes, there where a couple of notable improvements. The cropping tool has been redesigned from scratch and upgraded so now albums can now be sorted.
Cropping tool is the major updated part of the app, as the design and layout of the this feature got improved. These improvements include a more detailed rotation slider, the buttons were moved to the bottom and now a new feature was added, which allows images to be cropped while maintaining aspect ratios.
From this version we will be able to have a greater selection of sort options for album. Till now the only available options you could have where recently added’ and ‘default mode’, options which give the same manual arrangement that had previously been the standard.
From what we know, the update is in the process of rolling out and should reach devices which already have it installed, but if you want this update to your device sooner, you can grab a copy of the updated APK from here.
