Although OnePlus has yet to make any announcements, the launch of the OnePlus 5T seems imminent. Yesterday, we came across a filtered image of the smartphone’s pre-order page that revealed November 16 as the release date.
This was not all, even the top executives of the company are dropping subtle clues on the smartphone. Co-founders Carl Pei and Pete Lau posted some camera samples on their official Twitter and assumed it to be OnePlus 5T. Once again, Pete Lau posted a tweet yesterday, probably to highlight one of the features of the OnePlus 5T. He was also recruited by Carl Pei soon after.
The tweet says: ” OLED helps us build leaner devices with better viewing experiences. Samsung’s display technology is currently the best for Optic AMOLED. ” Very obvious, right? We see no other reason why the CEO of OnePlus suddenly posted a tweet to praise the displays made by his competitor. Although it is based only on assumptions, we believe (98%) that the OnePlus 5T could include an AMOLED panel manufactured by Samsung.
The OnePlus 5T screen has been the talk of the community for quite some time. Previous rumors, as well as their appearance on AnTuTu, revealed that the smartphone would come with a 6-inch FHD + screen with a screen resolution of 1,080 × 2,160 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. Apart from the display, the OnePlus 5T will differ from the OnePlus 5 in terms of battery size. It is expected that the first pack a larger battery of 3,450mAh. In addition, samples from the next smartphone’s camera also suggest that OnePlus may have made improvements in the camera department as we have seen above. As for the price, it may still be 6GB + 64 GB version 2999 yuan ($450.93), 8GB + 128 GB version 3499 yuan($526.11)
