Chuwi has already announced several tablets and notebooks on the market, always focusing on the audience looking for input devices or middleware. Now, according to what has been revealed, Recently the company decided to also launch the SurBook Mini as a notebook with small size and simple technical specifications.
The SurBook Mini was announced during the Hong Kong Consumer Electronics Fair event and features a 10.8-inch screen with Full HD resolution. It also features an Intel Celeron N3450 processor, which ensures good performance on simple tasks, but for heavier actions, it may have crashed.
It’s small size, but the display says otherwise. As it’s a full laminated display, so the image should be more detailed and vibrant by saying no to multiple reflections and making the touch and display overlapped without air getting in the way. As a result, the display is thinner thanks to the full lamination technology, and the image is more bright and focused. The adjustable kickstand can be flipped freely between 0 to 125 degrees for maximum visibility.
For RAM, Chuwi is offering only 4 GB, while the internal storage is 64 GB. Users will also find two common USB 3.0-speed ports, the ability to choose between Windows 10 or Ubuntu as the operating system, and a keyboard that can be “highlighted” for the SurBook Mini to be used as a tablet. there’s a Type-C port, twin USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The SurBook Mini has already gone into trial production as we speak, so we can expect to see it available on Chinese Shopping Festival season on 11th November 2017.
