Honor is making a name for itself producing cut-price phones with seriously competitive specs. An offshoot of Huawei, the experimental brand repackages the parts — hardware and software — refined by its corporate sibling, before assessing and undercutting its rivals significantly. For the budget-conscious customer, it’s a tempting offer.Honor is revealing its latest Smartphone Honor 9, The Huawei Honor 9 smartphone equipped with a 5.15 inch Full HD display. It boasts a 2.4 GHz processor associated with 4 GB of RAM (64 GB of expandable storage). Like the Huawei P10, it has a dual main photosensor (20 and 12 megapixels) and its battery reaches 3,200 mAh.
The Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch, 1080p panel. It’s plenty sharp, it’s still perfectly manageable in one hand. That is, provided the phone isn’t squirming around. The metal frame and so-called “3D curved glass back” is startling, especially in the “Sapphire Blue” I’ve been testing recently. The glass makes it slippery, though, so I highly recommend picking up a case. The edges of the Honor 9 are neatly finished, the matte frame, in combination with the soft glass, pleasantly adapts to the hand. At the same time, the Honor 9 is well adhered to the skin during telephone calls, giving a very secure feeling during handling, even during running. A total of four antenna lines run very discreetly on the aluminum frame of the flagship: two each on the lower edge, as well as on the left and right in the upper area. In general, the antenna lines do not about the noble design of the Honor 9.he specification of 155 grams is according to the manufacturer already included a battery.
Incredibly effective Honor 9 is full of technology. The Huawei Kirin 960 Series Octa-core processor comes with 4GB of RAM which delivers a class-leading performance. The phone has 18% faster processor performance and 180% better graphics performance compared to the previous generation, giving you a really fast and comfortable user experience.Duplicate SIM slots give you the opportunity to use two SIM cards simultaneously, which is useful while on the move. An additional microSD memory card slot allows you to upgrade your built-in 64GB memory.
Huawei Honor 9 charge over USB Type-C and have a fingerprint sensor, but the Honor 9 has its scanner on the front, rather than the rear. Positioning the sensor on the front does make the device a little taller than it might otherwise need to be, but given the display size.Honor 9 is also a phone for those who love to play. The phone has an enhanced graphics device, as well as the Game Performance Cruise System that extends your battery life so you can play even longer. 3200 mAh battery capacity and intelligent power-saving technology will provide you with battery life to get you through the day. Advanced charging technology allows the battery to be recharged to 40% in only half an hour.
There’s also the camera. The Honor 9 offers a dual-shooter system on the back, similar to Huawei’s more expensive P10 smartphone. Both have a 12-megapixel RGB sensor paired with a 20-megapixel monochrome equivalent for improved detail and, if you’re the artsy type, superior black and white shots.Honor 9 has some nondescript glass at the back. It seems to make a difference; the few shots I’ve taken with the Honor 9 have been lacking, with washed-out colors and aggressive sharpening. That’s outside, in glorious sunshine too, which doesn’t bode well for low-light shooting. Hopefully, this can be improved with a post-launch software update.
Conclusion
The Huawei Honor 9 is visually a real eye-candy and also feels when using the holding hand flattered. Surfaces on which the Honor 9 is placed should, however, be tested for their slipperiness: the flagship slides down from most surfaces. The 3D protective glass, which is included in the scope of delivery, can be remedied. The Huawei Honor 9 is available at CAFAGO on Flash Sale in just $369.99/€310.92 using a coupon code HW0126.(You have a short time to take for Honor 9 only 8 Hours Left to off this Flash Sale)
