There was a new image of the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 – not to be confused with the already presented Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A. And it somehow is not very similar to what was published earlier.
Thanks to these images, we can confirm the presence of the dual camera (presumably 16MP RGB and 5MPl monochrome), the LED flash and the classic circular sensor for fingerprint detection, used mainly for unlocking the device. It would, therefore, be possible to exclude the presence of a Home Key dedicated to unlocking the phone and other functions.
By carefully analyzing the photos, and by ignoring the fact that the device represented a protective plastic cover, it would appear that its form aesthetically reminds the Redmi Note model earlier and not the Mi 5 series as it had been hypothesized in the past.
Taking a closer look at the dual rear camera then, it seems that this protrudes slightly from the body. If that were the case, it would be a peculiarity for some people to nose their nose. Pending further images that could be disclosed in the next few hours, let’s remember that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 should adopt the Snapdragon 660 processor, the octa-core chip of the Qualcomm in the Mi Note 3 model.
We also recall that the two hardware configurations we are expecting to find are the 3GB / 4GB Ram memory and then 32GB / 64GB of Internal Storage. Rumors still argue that there will be a 3790 mAh battery that will support the Quick-Charge feature 2.0 or 3.0; this choice would allow Xiaomi to limit the thickness of the device to only 7.5mm.
As mentioned in the previous articles, the NFC and the type-c port should not be missing; the latter would not, however, exclude the presence of the 3.5 mm headphone input.
Regarding this new image that navigates the network of networks, as I mentioned, it is an image without verification. Therefore, we must leave it in quarantine until more information arrives. What is clear is that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is generating much expectation.
