The “variant” of Nokia 8 that comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space has recently been found in internal documents of the American FCC Certification Commission. Just a few days after this news comes another article that confirms that this model was announced by HMD.
Nokia is directly focused in Nokia 8 towards high-ranged budgets and it will more likely be quite expensive. However, this was to be expected when considering that it will offer 6GB of RAM which brings Nokia 8’s octa-core Snapdragon (64-bit) processor to the next level.People use their smartphones for different purposes and thus, owning one that has a large storage space can prove to be quite valuable. Therefore, the premium Nokia 8 model will ship with a 128GB ROM that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
New Nokia 8 will certainly be launched in the US. Apart from more RAM and storage, the upgraded Nokia 8 will pack the same features as the regular model. It will have 5.3-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual 13MP Carl Zeiss camera with OIS, 13MP selfie camera, NFC, fingerprint scanner, 3900mAh battery and Android Nougat (upgradable to Oreo).
This model of the phone has recently cleared the FCC certification which means Nokia may launch it first in the U.S market. It has the same 5.3(inch) Quad-HD Display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 700nits brightness.The same a recent report states that the company has confirmed that the variant of Nokia 8 with most GBs will be available in Europe (specifically in Germany) next month on October 20th. The choice of this particular blue color will be available. With regard to pricing, the handset will reach 669 or 90 euros more than the standard 4GB / 64GB version.
