HMD is working on a large and better-equipped version of the Nokia 8, known for the moment under the name Nokia 9. This smartphone should be more innovative than the Nokia 8 and could compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X on the market ultra-high-end smartphones.
A design claiming to reveal the design of the Nokia 9 has been posted on a Chinese forum. It shows the back of the device next to the Nokia 2, the cheap smartphone, future champion of autonomy. The same source had correctly revealed the design of the Nokia 2 and Nokia 8.
According to this drawing, the back of the Nokia 9 would incorporate a fingerprint reader, which may assume an edge-to-edge screen in front, and a dual photosensor as already proposed by the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 9 is exactly that with its full metal frame and spectacular design. Did someone mention design? Yes yes, we know you’ve seen this before in the Nokia 6 but this baby comes in with its own set of improvements.
we’ve got a fresh, alleged leak for the Nokia 9. It shows the device with rear 3D Glass, a dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor located at the back. The sensor makes us wonder, will we get another edge to edge smartphone display this year? Sounds like a long shot given supply constraints. The rumor mill promised two flagships from Nokia, but we’re yet to see any concrete details surface for the Nokia 9.
We already know that the Nokia 2 input device is in advanced stages of development, but there is strong evidence that a new premium model, more expensive than Nokia 8, is in the company’s plans, Nokia 9.
