UHD is an acronym that’s is becoming the standard in multimedia; TV and streaming services are adopting this tech in order to provide the best quality in entertainment, but if you want to enjoy this kind of media you must have the best to accomplish this mission, and this is where Alfawise S92 excels.
Alfawise a new brand from Asia, since 2016, had provided gizmos for those that needs affordable tech but with good quality. My first gadget I got from them was a mechanical keyboard and is very nice, but now is time to talk about the S92, an Android Tv Box.

My experience
At first hand the box is made of plastic, i know, other brands, like Tronsmart, make some of their devices from aluminum but in this case Alfawise is trying to make an affordable device, so, is ok. It comes with all the ports and slots you need (Thanks Alfawise). This little box looks minimalistic and I like it!
Took it out the box, made the connections, a quickly first boot up and that was it, then you have a launcher easy to manage with the remote included.
Overall I’m really impressed with the performance, this gadget is made for multimedia and it did a great job, everything I thrown at it played nice and smooth; Netflix and Amazon Prime worked nice, Kodi performance was good, the games emulator was a blast, as you see on video, no delays no choppy videos, no nothing.
And if you have doubts, in the video review you can see how it excels the job of reproducing 4K @60fps HDR10, all I had to do was download a pair of videos from internet, copy to a flash drive and then move them to the internal memory, then you open the file explorer and click on files. The stock media player use the hardware acceleration from the SoC AmLogic S912, which paired with those 2gb RAM, assure to give you a nice experience reproducing UHD content.
I can’t got tired of repeating, Alfawise S92 did a great job with this affordable little device, even if you don’t have a UHD TV you need this because you will be prepared to reproduce the new standard in multimedia, 4K @60fps HDR… 1080p is so 2005. Right now it is in flash sale at $55.99, only 65 Pieces left.
