OpenAI founder Sam Altman also said on the social media platform: “Anyone with 100,000 Gpus, please contact us.”
Altman pointed out that OpenAI is working on the issue, but due to capacity challenges, new releases may be delayed, some features may crash, and service may be slow at times, and he mentioned that if anyone has 100,000 Gpus, please contact them.
Since the announcement was made on April 1, many were unsure if it was an April Fool’s joke or if so many Gpus were really needed.
