Igeekphone, December 25 news, Samsung today (December 25) published a blog post, announcing that it will publicly display household heat pump EHS products at the CES 2025 exhibition to seize the US air conditioning market share.
Samsung’s Home Air Source heat pump system (EHS), which is mainly used for underfloor Heating and hot Water supply in residential and commercial buildings, uses air thermal energy and electricity for heating, which is more efficient and less carbon emission than boilers using fossil fuels, and is an energy-efficient solution.
Samsung Electronics already sells its home heat pump EHS products in more than 40 European countries and plans to expand to the U.S. market next year.
The EHS system consists of two indoor units and one outdoor unit. The indoor units are the Climate Hub Mono with a 200-litre water tank and the compact wall-mounted Hydro Unit Mono. The outdoor unit model is the Mono R32 HT Quiet. The indoor unit has a slim design and is only 600 mm thick.
Both indoor units are equipped with the “AI Home” feature based on the 7-inch touchscreen, which allows users to intuitively control product functions and control other smart devices in the home.
In addition, the EHS system is equipped with a “3D map view” function, which allows users to set the indoor temperature, and if users use photovoltaic (PV) solar energy, they can also connect the PV module to the SmartThings platform to easily monitor solar energy usage.
