Igeekphone, November 19 news, for years about Samsung plans to launch a cheaper folding screen phone rumors have been constantly, but so far has not been realized. Next year, though, we may see the fruits of Samsung’s efforts to lower the price of foldable phones, as the Galaxy Z Flip FE is rumored to launch in 2025.
According to industry insider Ross Young, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE in 2025. The phone will reportedly feature the same display as the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but Samsung will likely cut costs by using a lower-end camera and an older chipset.
Igeekphone notes that Ross Young also revealed that Samsung has no plans to launch a cheaper version of the Galaxy Z Fold at this time. So it seems Samsung is only going to launch a cheaper version of its small foldable smartphone.
According to Sammobile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will likely feature an Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e processor, but those two chips will be more than a year old by the time the phone launches. Therefore, Samsung is also likely to use the Exynos 2500 chip for the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
